Train to the End of the World
Shuumatsu Train Doko e Iku
The 7G cellular line was launched two years ago and it changed the world forever. Every region was effected differently and the central government no longer exists, only isolated pockets of human civilization remain. In Agano, the abnormality caused all residents over the age of 21 years and 3 months to turn into animals. Shizuru and her young friends carry on in their daily lives the best they can in the presence of the animals that used to be their neighbors and family. One day, by chance, they discover their lost friend, Haka, may still be alive in Ikebukuro. Since it is to dangerous to travel on foot, they decide to operate an abandoned passenger train, which they name "Apogee", and follow the Seibu Ikebukuru Line, on a journey 30 stations away though a transformed world.
